“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.” – Charles Dickens
At the least it is a time of rapidly changing uncertainty. Our lives are changing before our eyes and most, if not all of us, have the notion that the change is permanent, that things will never be the same again. I want you to know you are not alone. We, the elders and I, are praying for you and want to be a community that is there for each other. I know you are checking on each other and doing community well. However, we also want to be mindful of those who need a word of encouragement or even a personal prayer.
Starting March 25, I want to offer you another way to connect as our church family. Each day, Monday through Friday, I will be coming to you live on Zoom to share a brief devotion and to just visit with you over a cup of coffee or tea. The video conference call will begin at 9:00 AM and will last for an hour. We will pray together and share together. If you have a computer and internet access, you can join us.
