Belgrade Alliance Church cares about the health & safety of our church family, and our community. In an effort to keep our community safe, and do our part to practice social distancing and respect the directives given to us by the CDC and other government officials, we are making some changes to our weekly rhythms of how we do church. During these challenging times, we desire to be a community gathered in love, to support one another, proclaim the truth of God’s Word, and be a source of hope & light to those who need encouragement. We may scattered, but we will remain gathered as one body. Check back often for news & updates regarding how we are responding to the COVID-19 crisis, and how you can stay connected.
We Are Moving Back In!
We are excited to share with you that we are working to slowly move back into the building to resume normal ministry at Belgrade Alliance. The health of our community remains extremely important to us, so we will be taking all recommended precautions for the near future. The building has been cleaned and sanitized in preparation for reopening.
We will move from the parking lot back to the sanctuary on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 10:30 AM. You are invited to join us either in person, or online via our live stream. We will also have overflow seating with a video stream in the fellowship hall to allow for more distancing. If you do choose to join us in the sanctuary, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines.
- If you’re sick, even a little bit, please worship from home and join us again when you feel better.
- Use the provided hand sanitizer as you enter and exit the building.
- To minimize door traffic, please use both doors as you enter and exit.
- Nursery will be closed until further notice. We are excited to resume Children’s Church on June 7. Please keep your children with you at all times. Consider bringing things to help keep them occupied.
- As you come into the building, head directly to the sanctuary and find your seat right away.
- Both the downstairs and upstairs spaces are closed. We ask that you refrain from going to areas that are blocked off.
- Unfortunately, coffee, donuts, or the water fountain will not be available. If you would like to bring your own, that would be great.
- Offering baskets will be available at the door or you can also give online at https://belgradealliance.com/
- Our greeting time will be following the service outside in the parking lot.
If you’d like to wear a mask, you’re welcome to. If not, you’re welcome to not wear one. Our main goal as a fellowship is to worship the Lord together as the body of Christ. But a very close second is the heart-felt desire to keep each other safe. You are encouraged to do whatever you feel is best for your individual situation. There is no pressure to join us in person. We believe we will still be gathered as one body if you do watch online. Whether we like to admit it or not, many in our congregation are in the group that’s known as “high risk”. God forbid that anyone should get sick due to carelessness on our part.
Adult Sunday School will be available with the strict social distancing protocols in the fellowship hall at 9:30 am. Children’s and Youth Sunday School are both on break for the summer.
We may not be able to have our traditional offering during worship, but we do have other ways to give. We may not be gathering in person, but we sill have financial obligations to meet, and community members who need our benevolence. Give online securely at http://belgradealliance.com/give Or, give by mail. Send your check to Belgrade Alliance Church, 205 W. Cameron, Belgrade, MT 59714. In the memo, write “offering”. Thank you for your generosity.
Lighthouse Kids Ministry
Children’s Church will resume on Sunday, June 7. We will be following recommendation set by the Gallatin County Health Department. More specific details are coming soon for parents of kids. In the meantime, we will continue offering our Lighthouse Kids-at-Home online lessons. Watch for those to be shared on our Facebook page and the Lighthouse Kids at Home page on Sunday mornings. Coming soon are some family fun outdoor activities that we can do together that allow for social distancing. Keep an eye out for that!
