Ron Lotz

Senior Pastor

I hate name tags.  I hate them because they always seem like a superficial barrier.  I prefer to ask a persons name, to take the time to get to know them and hear their story.  I hate politics of any kind and administration leaves me braindead, although I enjoy leading.  I laugh a lot and warm to a good story.  My greatest joy is being a father and husband.  I love being a pastor and shepherding my flock.  I believe the preaching of the Word of God is by far the greatest calling a man can have.  I am more comfortable in blue jeans than I am in a suit.  I love the outdoors and the musky smell of a library.  Those who know me say that I am an aesthetic and a scholar pretending to be a regular guy.  Visit Pastor Ron's Blog

Millie Veltkamp

Director of Next Generation Ministry

I wake up each day in awe that our amazing God would use me in a small way to share His gospel message with others. I am blessed to serve here at BAC by discipling children, youth and  their families, as well as supporting our outstanding team of interns  & amazing volunteer team. I have worked in children’s ministry in various capacities for over 20 years.  My family is one of my biggest joys in life. I have been with my husband Jim for over 30 years. 4 amazing children call me mom and 2 fabulous grandchildren call me grandma.  I am a simple person. I don’t get excited about material things, and value experiences over things. Moments that take my breath away are what I treasure. Time outside hiking, biking, camping, fishing, kayaking & traveling on mission, are how I relax and spend my free time. I have a heart for service, wear many hats, but most importantly, I am a life changed by Jesus.

Billy Dutton

Worship & Tech Director

This probably comes as no surprise, but I LOVE music!  All kinds of music! I love the way music can transport us to somewhere else and evoke strong emotional responses from us! Our God created music for His worship and I am BLESSED to be able to participate in this creative medium! My other passions include running long distances on trails and Star Wars (didn't see that coming did you)!I  I love  being a hubby, a daddy-OH, and a Papa!! I can be quiet and reserved sometimes, well ok not too many times, and I can laugh loud and long (my family would agree with the last one more).  I like to have fun but also crave those alone times where it is just God, me, and a trail winding up into the mountains!

Jody Marks

Administrative  Assistant

Jody has been serving as our administrative assistant since 2023, after a brief absence to pursue other things. She  previously served for 7+ years as our administrative assistant, so she brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. Jody not only keeps things going in the office, she can be found serving our children in our Awana and other NextGen ministries.  Jody enjoys gardening, camping and anything outdoors. She is blessed to live close to he three children and numerous grandchildren, along with her husband Gary.

Alec Dorcheus

"Beyond" - High School Ministry Coordinator

I am excited to see God’s work in both my personal life, and in ministry as well. I have a huge passion for students and see them fully commit their lives to Christ. l I have a passion for God’s Word, both knowing it but living it as well. My favorite part of being here at BAC is that it is helping me grow. I  am a 2023 graduate of Montana Bible College,  graduating with a Bachelor of Arts NextGen Ministry.  If you meet me, I can be a little goofy and energetic in general. I have a deep affection towards three things:  Coffee, La Croix, & Star Wars. Outside of that, doing something outside is where I would love to be.

I have served as part of the Yellowstone Alliance Adventures staff team for several summers, which has truly helped me grow in my faith & confidence.  I am blessed to serve as an intern at BAC, leading the Pier 56 Ministry for 5th & 6th grade students, while pursing NextGen Ministries at Crown College online.
