Child Health & Safety

It is extremely important to us at Belgrade Alliance that children who participate in our Lighthouse Kids ministry programs can do so in a safe and secure environment. We require all our children’s ministry volunteers to complete a volunteer application, including reference and background checks, and to and complete child safety training.
Children attending  Lighthouse Kids activities & events must be checked in and out by a parent or guardian or an authorized adult.  Our check-in desk is located in the children's ministry area in the lower level of the church.

At check-in our child will be given a name tag and you will be given a dismissal ticket that matches your child's name tag.  Please bring this back when you pick up your child. If someone else is picking them up, you may take a photo of the ticket and share it with that person. Please be sure they are on your authorized pick-up list. Our volunteers are not able to release any child without the dismissal ticket.

If you are coming for the first time, please arrive a little early so that we can collect some information from you to help us keep your child safe. We use electronic check-in at Lighthouse Kids.
We seek to maintain a healthy environment the prevents the spread of illness. Please help us by reviewing and abiding by our wellness guidelines.

If your child has had the following symptoms in the last 24 hours, please keep them home until they feel better.  A health screening, including temperature checks will be done at check-in each week.

Fever 100 degrees +
Head Lice or Nits
Severe/Persistent Cough
Unexplained Rash/Sores
Sore Throat or Earache
Nausea, Vomiting or Diarrhea
Lethargic Behavior
Yellow/Green Discharge from eyes, ears, nose
